Child and Family photography
I try to make our portrait sessions fun and relaxed, allowing your kids to play, explore and have fun! They usually take place in an outdoor location or in the familiar surroundings of your own home and garden, as I find children more often allow themselves to open up and have fun in an environment that's familiar or interesting to them. If it's a rainy day we can either continue as planned with our outdoor shoot (this is Scotland after all, most kids are happy to play in a bit of rain!), or we can move the shoot indoors, where we can either photograph in the setting of your house or bring out the studio backdrop.
The session usually takes around one hour, or as long as the children find it fun and interesting.
Baby Photography
I'm not a "Newborn photographer". I don't like to make hammocks for babies to balance in, or carve out pumpkins for them to sit in or to put them in wheelbarrows. However, I love to photograph newborn humans in all their delicate, strong, miraculous being. I love to photograph them at home with their mummies and daddies, their siblings or dogs, their grandparents or simply just them, amazing as they are.
Sessions usually last around one hour, though may last a little longer to allow for feeds, nappy changes and mummy cuddles when needed.
Maternity Photography
I love to capture glorious, pregnant women in the beautiful outdoors. Sessions usually last around an hour, and allow for a change of clothes or setting, if required.
Senior Portraits
Young people graduating from high school, on the cusp of the biggest change of their lives. We create a beautiful set of photographs to mark this new chapter for them, and for their parents. Hop over here to see some photos from a recent Senior Portrait session
